Kapitel 10 Nitai

Hello,

For my kultur readings, i read "dinner for who? and i read about the many places to travel in switzerland. Switzerland does really seem like a beautiful place, with a lot of nature. They are known as a peaceful place, and that extends to their environment just as much as it does to their stance in World Wars.

i thought the dinner for one article was hilarious. The idea of these Germans asking everyone about these jokes made me laugh a lot. I also thought it was kind of sad that most germans spend their new years watching television rather than out celebrating. I also thought it was funny how these germans assumed everyone else watched that same thing just because us and the skit share native tongues.

It reminded me of the time i was at my friends house in germany, and his friends were shocked that i had not seen some of the stupidest videos on all of youtube. they all thought it was quite funny, and did not understand how i could have missed a "staple in american culture"
