For this AMD, I decided to go with one of the suggested links and checked out some music videos from German Artists. One that stood out to me in particular was the song Millionär by Die Prinzen, which easily translates into Millionaire by the Princes. Reading into their bio, this band is a popular pop-band in Germany and was from former East Germany. They also had 14 Gold and 6 Platinum records, which is pretty amazing. The music video seemed pretty dated and I was right in this assumption since the song came out in 1991. It's a pretty catchy tune and is eerily similar to the song Billionaire by Bruno Mars.
Anyways, this song was very easy to understand and the lyrics are as follows.
During the song Geld is constantly repeated in the background which means money. They also repeat I'd really like to be a millionaire in German during the Chorus. I thought it was pretty funny how they mentioned the jobs that could get them alot of money, but they said they were too lazy. Anyways the lyrics weren't that complex and the whole video kind of seemed goofy, but I guess this was successfull music in Germany in the early 90s.
